My name is Jack, and I founded Homenable because I believe no one should be left behind by technology. For too many older adults and people with disabilities, fast-moving devices feel overwhelming rather than empowering. Support is often rushed, one-size-fits-all, or unnecessarily expensive — leaving people feeling excluded, anxious, or dependent on others.
I know first-hand how powerful technology can be when it’s used well. It can reconnect families, restore independence, and open doors to possibilities people thought were closed. That’s why I created Homenable — to make technology human again.
I spent 17 years working at Apple, where I discovered my passion for helping people gain confidence with their devices. My focus was accessibility — sparked when my mum was diagnosed with macular degeneration — and I became the go-to person for customers and colleagues alike who needed patient, practical guidance. Over the years I’ve worked with thousands of people, including running training sessions exclusively for the accessibility community.
At Homenable, I bring that same expertise and empathy to every client I meet. My approach is simple: I listen first, I understand what matters most to you, and I shape every session around your unique needs. There’s no jargon, no rushing — just practical, patient support designed to make technology work for you.
Homenable provides one-to-one, in-home Apple training and setup for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users across Birmingham and the West Midlands. Whether it’s staying in touch with loved ones, making everyday tasks easier, or exploring built-in accessibility features, I help you or your loved ones use technology with confidence, dignity, and independence.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not about the device. It’s about giving people back the freedom to connect, communicate, and live life on their own terms.
